Speed up your Inspection and Move-In/Move-Out process with Happy Inspector's integration with RealPage OneSite! Let the software do the hard work, by importing your Units from OneSite and automatically syncing back your Reports!

How do I set up the RealPage OneSite Integration?

The OneSite integration is a Premium Integration, so depending on your plan type, you can start the setup process from your OneSite account. There are 3 steps to getting your OneSite Integration set up:

  1. Send an Integration Request via OneSite.
  2. Send HappyCo your OneSite Company ID and Property IDs.

To send an integration Request you will need to have the 'Manage AppPartner Subscription' permissions in OneSite, then you can:

  • Log in to RealPage Central > click Administration > click RealPage Exchange >click App Partner Marketplace

To send the Company ID and Property ID number in RealPage. You can access this by:

  • Clicking the RealPage logo in the top left (3 orange dots) > looks for the OneSite ID number column, and send us the ID numbers in the Property and Companyrows.

These steps will need to be done for every Property you would like to Integrate. Once we receive your Integration request and account details, we will set the Integration up on our end. This isn't instant however, so please allow a couple of days for the team to complete the set up of your account.

How do I add my Units?

Once your Property is set up, your Units will automatically sync through to your HappyCo account. Please be sure you don't add them through Happy Inspector, as any that are created in the app isn't going to be linked to OneSite and will not sync.
If you can't see your Units, it may be that the device hasn't had a chance to Sync them down from the database. To refresh the app, and kickstart a Sync pull down on the list of Inspections.
Please keep in mind that the integration doesn't currently sync Contact Details from OnePage, but can be added by editing the Property through Happy Inspector.

How Do I Sync My Reports back to OneSite?

Once you've collected the Data in your Move-In/Move-Out Inspection, you'll need to create a Report so the data can be shared. You can create a Report from the Inspection by:

  • tapping the '+' icon in the top right > select the Report Type (Move-In or Move-Out) > tap the check-mark icon in the top right to finalize the Report:

Once you are connected to a strong internet connection, the Report will automatically sync and upload to your OneSite account, as a link. The Reports will appear as a link and new entry in the Activity Log for the corresponding Unit.

Currently, you aren't able to select or click the Report link in OneSite, however, if you have the Edit Activity Log permission enabled you will be able to copy the link to the Report, which you can then paste that link into a browser to view the Report.

Why Isn't My Report Syncing?

There could be a couple of reasons why your Reports aren't syncing to OneSite, the Report may not sync back is that the Unit or Inspection was created in Happy Inspector, rather than synced through the integration. Remember, Both Units and Inspections will be set up through the integration, so you just need to enter the app and perform your Inspections. Creating a Unit or Inspection in HappyCo software will not link back to OneSite.

How do I schedule My Move-In Move-Out Inspections?

Your Inspections will automatically be scheduled in HappyCo software when the leases Scheduled Move-In Date is added, as well as the Notice For Date (Move-Out). Inspections are synced periodically through out the day, so if you can't see it in your HappyCo account, wait 15-20 minutes and refresh the app.

Your Inspections may show the wrong time on the Inspection Screen. Don't worry, Inspections can be started and completed at anytime, regardless of the scheduled time. Simply tap in the the Scheduled Inspection and start Inspecting!
