Adding a Template from our Template Library

Access to Happy Inspector includes access to our library of best-in-class templates. Our templates are designed for the different use cases of Happy Inspector and will have been setup and selected at the time you setup your account. 

There are range of templates for different industries which are searchable and browsable.

To add a template, first make sure you're working in the Templates section of your app.

On your iPhone tap the small, hamburger menu up the top left to reveal the navigation menu on the left hand side of Happy Inspector, then tap Templates. On your iPad, slide your list of properties to the right and tap Templates.

The screen should then change to having a blue titlebar up the top containing Templates.

On your Android device, or if you prefer to use the web over your iPhone or iPad, you can sign in to your account at happy.co and manage your templates there. Your online account, Manage, is discussed in other Help Articles, such as Editing Templates on Manage - Android.

Once you're in the Templates section of your app, on your iPhone tap the plus icon (+) at the bottom of the screen then tap Browse Template Library. The screen will then show a list of different industries. Select the industry that best matches yours and then review the available templates. Or select All Industries and review our full list.

When you tap into the templates you can review them by scrolling through and checking all of it's sections and items. If you would like to add the template to your account tap the Get button in the top right-hand corner.

Once you've added your first template you have the option to continue reviewing other templates by tapping Continue Browsing, or by returning to your app by tapping Leave Template Library.

Duplicating a Existing Template

To copy an existing template that's in your folder, first make sure you're working in the Templates section of your app.

On your iPhone tap the small, hamburger menu up the top left to reveal the navigation menu on the left hand side of Happy Inspector, then tap Templates. On your iPad, slide your list of properties to the right and tap Templates.

The screen should then change to having a blue titlebar up the top containing Templates.

On your Android device, or if you prefer to use the web over your iPhone or iPad, you can sign in to your account at happy.co and manage your templates there. Your online account, Manage, is discussed in other Help Articles, such as Editing Templates on Manage - Android.

Once you're in the Templates section of your app, on your iPhone tap the plus icon (+) at the bottom of the screen then tap Duplicate Existing Template. The screen will then refresh and show you your list of templates in your folder. Select the template you wish to copy. Make any changes to the title and description of the template, then tap the checkmark at the top right. The screen will refresh and then open up with the new template.

If you wish to now, you can tap Edit and edit the template. Please see our Help Article Editing Templates, or tap the checkmark in the top right to close the template and return to your list of templates in your folder. You should now see your new template in the list.
