This article covers how to update a user's profile and password in HappyCo.

Please note: This can only be done by a user that has the Administrator role in HappyCo. HappyCo Administrator roles are not linked to Buildium Administrator roles.


Updating a User's Profile

  • Log into Manage, and click on the Settings icon in the lower left corner above your initials

  • Select the Users option in the pop up menu

  • Once on the Users list page, click on the name of the user you need to update

  • To update, simply click the Name, Email, or Phone Number on the user's page   

  • Enter the new details

  • To change a user’s Role click their current Role select the new Role from the dropdown

  • Once you click out of an updated field, the details will be automatically saved

  • Please note: After Role changes are made, ensure the user refreshes their app permissions

    • This can be done by selecting Sync Permissions within the app's Settings


Resetting a User's Password

  • To start, select the user you'd like to update the password for

  • Click the 3 vertical dots button in the top right

  • Select Reset Password

  • Enter the new password (optional) 

  • Click Reset 

    • If you leave the password field blank, an email will be sent out and the user will be able to choose their own password

    • If you enter a password for them, you'll need to let them know separately
