Starting a brand new inspection of your unit or property in Inspections.

Starting a new Inspection using the Quick Inspection feature on iOS

The quickest way to start an inspection is by using the Quick Inspection feature. To use this you need to begin from your list of units or properties. 

If you have a long list you can scroll or drag your finger down the list to reveal the search bar and search to find the unit you’re wanting to inspect. Once you have found the unit, slide the listing to the left to reveal the green Quick Inspection tab.

Tapping Quick Inspection will then bring up the Choose a Template screen allowing you to select the template you would like to use to perform your inspection. Selecting the template will then start a brand new inspection for the unit or property. 

You can not use this feature to copy a previous inspection or schedule a future one.

 

Starting a new Inspection from the unit detail screen on iOS

From your list of units or properties, scroll or search for the unit you want to inspect, then tap into it. 

This will bring up the unit detail screen with the address details at the top of your screen and the list of previous inspections for the unit, if any, underneath.

On an iPhone start a new inspection for this unit by tapping the plus icon (+) at the bottom of the screen. This will bring up the Add Inspection popup with Start a New Inspection is at the top of the list.

On an iPad you can start a new inspection from a property or unit detail screen by tapping the plus icon (+) to the top right of the screen and tapping Start a New Inspection.

Once you've tapped Start a New Inspection, you will be asked to Choose a Template. Once you've tapped on your chosen template, your screen will move to the main inspection screen inspection allowing you to perform your inspection.

 

Starting a new Inspection from the unit detail screen on Android

On Android, to start a new inspection begin in your list of units and scroll or search for the unit you will be inspecting. Tap into the unit to get the unit detail screen with the address of the unit in the title-bar and list of previous inspections, if any, underneath.

Start a brand new inspection by tapping the green, floating action button in the lower right-hand corner and tapping Start a New Inspection. This will bring up the Choose a Template window allowing you to select which template you would like to use to perform your inspection.

Once you’ve found the template you want to use, tap it to open up the inspection screen and start your inspection.

 

Starting a new inspection from your list of previous inspections on iOS

On your iPhone if you're starting from your list of previous inspections, tap the plus icon (+) at the bottom of your screen, then tap Start a New Inspection.

On your iPad tap the plus icon (+) at the top right of your list of inspections, then tap Start a New Inspection.

Tapping Start a New Inspection will bring up your list of units. Scroll, or search by dragging down on the list to reveal the search bar and entering the unit address, to find the unit you want to inspect.

Tapping on the unit will then bring up your list of templates allowing you to select which one you would like to use for the inspection.

Tapping on the template will then open the inspection screen to allow you to start performing your inspection.
