Available once you've opted into early access

Consolidated Settings brings every product setup and admin control, across both HPM and HAM, into a single side navigation grouped by what it's for. Until now, setting up HappyCo meant two places — the Admin Center and the old Settings page — with some controls in one, some in the other, and a few in both. This covers how to open the consolidated Settings and what changes when you switch it on. You'll need to have opted into early access first.

1.  Open consolidated Settings from the gear icon

Once you've opted into early access, select the gear icon. Settings opens as one side navigation, grouped by what each area is for:

  • Access: users, roles, groups, teams, corporate, SSO and SCIM (at the top)
  • Portfolio
  • Product Setup
  • Integrations
  • Platform (at the bottom)

Pick any page and it works just as before — same screen, same steps, nothing to relearn.

 Tip

You no longer need to remember which app a page lived in — HPM and HAM setup are both here.

2.  What changes with consolidated Settings

A few things are tidied up when you switch over:

  • All configuration elements previously available between Settings and Admin Center are now found in one place, organized by functional area
  • SSO and SCIM used to be set up in both apps; now there's just one of each.
  • The Admin Center's property page is now called Property Provisioning, so it's easy to tell apart from Properties.

Settings also inherits all your existing permissions and access, so people only see the pages they could already reach. There's nothing to reconfigure.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to relearn any of the setup pages?

No. Each page works just as before — same screen, same steps. The only change is that everything now lives in one side navigation instead of being split between the Admin Center and the old Settings page.

Will switching to consolidated Settings change who can see what?

No. Settings inherits all your existing permissions and access, so people only see the pages they could already reach. There's nothing to reconfigure.

What's the difference between Property Provisioning and Properties?

Property Provisioning is the new name for the Admin Center's property page, renamed so it's easy to tell apart from Properties.

What happened to SSO and SCIM being set up in both apps?

SSO and SCIM used to be configured in both apps. Now there's just one of each.
