Once your SiteVisit configuration is complete, you’re ready to conduct your onsite inspection. This process helps you capture real-time observations, document issues, and produce a detailed report for your property team.
1. Starting Your Visit
Start by entering your name and email address — your final report will be sent to this address automatically.
You’ll move through each section, marking responses as:
- 👍 Pass (1 point)
- 👎 Fail (0 points)
- N/A - Marking any item as N/A will not count towards the final amenity/property score.
The scoring automatically calculates a score per amenity/unit and an overall property score as you go.
2. Adding Notes, Tasks, and Photos
For any failed item or area of concern, you will be prompted to provide notes:
- Add notes to describe the issue (e.g., “Pool deck dirty”). Notes will automatically be appended to the follow-up task
- Create a task for onsite follow-up.
- Upload photos to document the issue clearly.
These photos and notes appear directly in your final PDF report, helping your team understand context and next steps.
3. Completing and Generating Your Report
When you’ve finished your walkthrough, select Complete SiteVisit. SiteVisit automatically generates a PDF report, which opens in a new window. The report includes: Property name and address Inspector details Overall score (e.g., 84.62% with 11 passes out of 13 tasks) Notes, photos, and inspection statuses
It also features an Executive Summary, generated by Joy AI, to provide quick insights into the property’s performance.
Your report is now available for download, and will be automatically sent to the Inspector email address
