This article covers how to manage a user's property folder access in HappyCo.

Please note: This can only be done by a user that has the Administrator role in HappyCo. HappyCo Administrator roles are not linked to Buildium Administrator roles.

 

You can update a user's property access by following the steps below:

  • Log into Manage, and click on the Settings icon in the lower left corner above your initials

  • Select the Users option in the pop up menu

  • Once on the Users list page, click on the name of the user you need to update

  • Select the Manage Direct Access button in the upper right corner

  • Click on the plus sign (+) icons to the right of the property folder name to give the user access

  • You can also click on the green checkmark to remove property access for an individual user

  • Once you have finished, click on the Done button to save your changes

 

Please Note:

  • Before removing a property from a user's profile, be sure all inspections have finished syncing from their device

    • Unsynced data will not be able to sync to our database once the property is removed from the user's profile

  • After property access changes are made, ensure the user refreshes their Inspections app

    • They can do this by swiping down on the screen in their list of folders, units, and inspections

    • They can also Sync Permissions within the app's Settings
