Release Updates: Stay Ahead with Early Access

Welcome to Release Updates!

This feature allows HappyCo admins to stay ahead of the curve by accessing the latest product updates and enhancements before they are rolled out to all users. Here's everything you need to know about using Release Updates.

What is Release Updates?

Release Updates is a feature designed to keep you informed about the latest changes and improvements to HappyCo products. As an admin, you can choose to enable early access to these updates, allowing you to test and utilize new features before they become generally available.

How to Access Release Updates

  1. Navigate to the Admin Centre: Log in and go to the Admin Centre.
  2. Find 'Release Updates': Within the Admin Centre, locate the 'Release Updates' section in the left navigation menu. Here, you'll find a list of all the available updates and their current status. Past releases will also be displayed so you can go back over these and access support documentation as needed.

Enabling Early Access to a Feature

  1. Review the Update: Click on the release you are interested in. You'll find information about what the release entails and links to our support articles providing detailed information on how to use the feature.
  2. Enable Early Access: If you decide to enable the update, click the 'Enable' button. This will activate the feature for your account.

Things to Consider

  • Disabling Updates: Most updates can be disabled if you find that they do not meet your needs. To do so, simply follow the same steps you used to enable the update and click 'Disable'.
  • Permanent Changes: Some updates may introduce permanent changes to your HappyCo account, these will be explicitly called out in the release. These cannot be disabled once enabled. Ensure you review the update details carefully before enabling. Eventually once the feature moves to General Availability this change will happen in any event.

General Availability

Once an update reaches its general availability date, it will be automatically rolled out and become available to all users. You will no longer need to enable these updates manually. By providing you wit the general availability date, this allows you to plan around the new features for you and your teams.
