Adding notes to your items

Adding Notes to Items using Voice-to-Text
You can save a lot of time typing your notes by tapping the microphone icon on your device’s keyboard and speaking your notes using voice-to-text. On iOS, and most of Android, this is to the left of the spacebar.
For best results using this feature use short phrases and speak your punctuation.
Please note your device needs to be connected to the internet to use this feature.
Adding SnapText to your Phrase Library on iOS
If you’re sick of typing the same thing again and again, use the Inspections app's handy SnapText feature.
Enter the phrase you want to save as SnapText in to the notes field then tap the small, plus icon (+) to save it to your SnapText library.
On your iPhone this is on the left of the screen above the keyboard.
On your iPad this is on the top right of the notes field under the SnapText ‘T’ symbol.
You can also add just a part of your note into a SnapText phrase by selecting the part you would like to add and tapping Add To SnapText from the black context menu which appears above your selection once it’s highlighted.
SnapText are based on the folder you’re currently working in and are accessible by all users who have access to that folder.
Adding SnapText phrases into your Item's Notes
You can add your SnapText phrases you've previously saved by tapping the SnapText ‘T’ symbol. On iPhones this is on the lower right while on iPads the icon is at the top left. On Android devices it's the green, floating action button in your notes field.
Phrases are saved based on the context of when they were saved into the library. You can search for phrases using the search bar or reorder the phrases using the reorder icon to the right of the plus icon.
When you've found the phrase you want to use, tapping the phrase drops it straight into the end of your notes field.
