Overview

Never miss an update again. Notifications brings an in-app notifications centre to the HappyCo Property Mobile App. A new bell icon sits next to your avatar, and a red badge tells you when something needs your attention. Tap through to see every notification in one place, jump straight to the work order it relates to, and keep your list tidy with read, unread, and dismiss actions.

Notifications are in-app only. This does not change your push notifications — they arrive exactly as they did before. Think of this as a running record inside the app, so a notification is always there when you come back to it.

At this stage, notifications cover work orders.

How to enable it

This feature is released via Release Updates. To turn it on for your account:

  1. In HappyCo Manage, go to Admin Centre > Release Updates.
  2. Search for Notifications on Mobile.
  3. Switch it on.

Once enabled, the feature is available to your team on next HPMA sync.

How to disable it

Return to Admin Centre > Release Updates, find Notifications on Mobile, and switch it off.

Finding your notifications

  • A new bell icon appears next to your avatar.
  • When you have a notification, a red badge appears on the bell.
  • Tap the bell to open your notifications list. You'll see all of your notifications, plus a separate list for unread notifications only.
  • Unread notifications show on a white background with a purple dot over the icon.

Opening a notification

Tap a notification to go straight to the work order it relates to. Opening a notification this way marks it as read.

Managing your notifications

Slide a notification card from left to right to reveal its actions:

  • Mark as read or unread — keep track of what you've already actioned.
  • Dismiss — remove the notification. Dismissing deletes it from your device.

Bulk actions

To action everything at once, tap the overflow (three-dot) menu in the header of the notifications screen. From here you can:

  • Mark all as read
  • Mark all as unread
  • Dismiss all

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these push notifications?

No. These are in-app notifications. Your push notifications continue to arrive as they did before. The notifications centre is a record inside the app, so you never miss one.

What do notifications cover?

Work orders, at this stage.

What happens when I dismiss a notification?

It's deleted from your device. To clear several at once, use Dismiss all from the overflow menu.

How do I mark something as unread again?

Slide the notification card from left to right and choose Mark as unread, or use Mark all as unread from the overflow menu.

Where do I change my notification settings?

In HappyCo Manage.
