This article covers the detailed behaviors and limitations for inspection report sync between HappyCo and RealPage. For a high-level overview, see the RealPage Integration Overview →.

Where Reports Land in RealPage

Completed inspection reports sync to RealPage as a link to the PDF in the resident's Activity Record.

Standalone Inspections (Triggered by the Integration)

For inspections created automatically by the integration — based on move-in, move-out, or notice events — reports are synced back to the resident in RealPage upon completion.

Make Ready Project Inspections

For inspections that are part of a Make Ready project, syncing the report to the resident moving out is optional and disabled by default. This default prevents inspection reports not intended for that resident — such as a move-in inspection — from being sent incorrectly.

To enable report sync for project inspections, provide the names of the specific inspection templates you want synced. This can be configured on a per-property basis.

Manually Created Inspections

Inspections created manually by an inspector (not triggered by the integration) are not synced back to RealPage, regardless of settings.
