Requirements
- You must have an Admin role to access and update Communication Settings.
Key Concepts
Per-Property Customization
Communication Settings apply uniform notification logic while allowing for full customizability. You can manage preferences individually for each property to tailor them to specific operational needs.
Notification Types
You can configure the following automated alerts for each property. (Tip: Hover over the question mark icon next to any notification type in the platform for a tooltip explaining its purpose).
- Request Received: Notifies residents immediately when their service request is created.
- Work Scheduled: Notifies residents when their service appointment is scheduled.
- Day of Reminder: Sends a reminder on the day of the scheduled service.
- Request on Hold: Notifies residents if their request is put on hold.
- Request Completed: Notifies residents when their service request is marked as completed.
- Request Survey: Sends a survey to residents after their request is completed. It can be delivered by SMS/text and email, depending on the resident’s available contact info and opt-out preferences.
Resident Messaging
You can enable direct two-way communication between residents and the onsite team or technicians. This provides a link to the Communication Hub (formerly known as Lite Portal). For more information, see: https://happyco1778844245.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/50802992239508-The-Communications-Hub
