The information modal shows the number of projects and properties the update will affect. It also describes what to expect for each project status.
Toast notification when an update starts
When an update starts, a toast notification appears in the bottom left of your screen. It tells you that two emails will be sent: one when the update starts and one when it completes.
Email notifications for update start and completion
HappyCo sends one email when the update starts and one when it is completed.
Who receives the update emails
Any user with the View, add, and edit Boards and Project Templates permission receives the email notifications.
Editing is blocked while an update is in progress
While an update is in progress, HappyCo blocks additional changes to the template until the current update is completed.
Tracking update progress on the template list
The template list view shows a progress bar for each template update.
When the update is complete
Once the update is completed, the progress bar shows 100% Complete. The progress bar stays for 24 hours and then disappears.
When a template update fails
Failures are rare and are typically caused by improper configuration and setup. If a failure happens, HappyCo notifies you and guides you through the actions to take to resolve it.
Reviewing failed updates
The alert for a failed update has a Review Errors button.
