Work Order Events make it easier to track when you’re on the way to a job and actively working on a job—without needing to manually start or stop a timer.

When you open a work order, you’ll be asked if you’re actively working on it. Selecting “Start work order” automatically begins tracking your active time, helping your team get a clearer picture of what you are working on, how long tasks take and, in the future, improving scheduling accuracy.

How to use

  1. Open a work order from My Work or the Work Orders tab
  2. In the Work Order Lobby - On the Way:
    • If the work order has a Resident and Resident Communications is enabled at your Property
      • tap 'Let resident know you're on the way"
      • this will serve an automated message that you can send as is or edit
      • you will notice an "On the way" icon on the work order - letting your team know that you are in transit.
    • If the work order does not have a Resident and/or Resident Communications is disabled at your Property
      • tap 'Let team know you're on the way"

      • Note: no messages will be sent if the work order does not have a Resident and/or Resident Communications is disabled at your Property.
