This article covers the detailed behaviors for how completed inspection reports sync from HappyCo to Yardi. For a high-level overview, see the Yardi Integration Overview →.
Where Reports Land in Yardi
When an inspection is completed in HappyCo, the report syncs to Yardi as a PDF. The PDF link is attached to the resident's record in Yardi under Data → Attachments.
Sync Behavior by Inspection Type
Not all inspections sync to Yardi in the same way. The behavior depends on how the inspection was created in HappyCo:
Automatically scheduled inspections (triggered by move-in, notice-for, or notice-on events) sync their completed reports to Yardi automatically when marked complete in HappyCo.
Make Ready project inspections can optionally sync their reports to Yardi. This is disabled by default and configured at the template and property level. Contact your HappyCo Customer Success Manager to enable this for specific templates or properties.
Manually created inspections — inspections created ad-hoc in HappyCo outside of an automated trigger or Make Ready project — do not sync to Yardi.
Report Format
Reports sync as a PDF generated from the completed HappyCo inspection. The PDF includes all completed sections, ratings, notes, and photos captured during the inspection.
Sync Timing
Completed inspection reports sync to Yardi within 15 minutes of the inspection being marked complete in HappyCo.
