What is a template?

They're just like the paper inspection forms you're used to — except online and yours to edit! Templates are also the foundation for your inspections and reports in the Happy Property: Maintenance app.

You can configure them in all kinds of ways, including:

• Adjusting the number of sections and items

• Switching the layout or order of items

• Changing rating sets to "yes/no" or numeric values, etc.

How do I add a template to app?

First thing's first: make sure you're in the Templates section of the app (the icon has a circle, triangle, and a ruler)! Then…

• Tap the plus sign at the bottom left of your phone screen or top right of an iPad

• Browse the template library

• Once you find a template you like, tap the "Get" button in the top right corner of your screen

How do I copy an existing template in my account?

(Note: this option is only possible if your company allows!). If it does...

• Under the Templates section, tap the plus button at the bottom of your screen

• Tap "Duplicate Existing Template" and you're all set with a backup copy.

How do I delete a template from my account?

• Hop into the Templates section of your app

• Find the template you want to delete and slide it to the left

• Tap the red "Delete" button that appears

• If you can't slide the template to the left, that means you don't have the ability to delete templates based on your organization's permissions
