Overview

This article explains how to reset your password and update your user profile details in Manage. It also covers what to do if you lose access to the email address currently associated with your account.

Steps

Resetting Your Password

1. Go to the HappyCo homepage and click Sign-in in the upper right corner.
2. Click the Forgot Password? link on the sign-in page.
3. Enter your user email address and click Continue. This will send a password reset email to your account.
4. Check your email inbox.
   • Note: Please allow a few minutes for the email to arrive. Make sure to check your junk or spam folders, and whitelist the @happyco.com domain if you find the email there.
5. Click the link provided in the email and enter a new password.
   • Password Requirements: Passwords must be at least 8 characters long and include a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. We recommend using a password generator tool, such as LastPass, to create a strong password.
6. Click the Change my password button.
7. Log in using your new password.

Updating Your User Details in Manage

1. Log into Manage.
2. Click on your initial, displayed in a circle in the upper right corner.
3. Select Edit Profile.
4. Update your information as needed. On this screen, you can update your:
   • Full name
   • Short name
   • Email
   • Phone number
   • Password
5. Click Save in the lower right corner when you are finished.

Exceptions / Edge Cases

Previously Generated Reports

Any changes made to a user's profile will not affect any previously generated reports that included Inspector Details.

Updating an Outdated or Inaccessible Email Address

If you are unable to access the HappyCo app because your email address is outdated, you will need to contact support to update your credentials.

1. Reach out to the HappyCo support team.
2. Provide your current username and any relevant account information so they can verify your identity.
3. Once verified, the support team will ensure you can log in with the correct email address.
