This article shows you where to find units that your inspectors marked as No Entry in the Due Diligence mobile app, so you can tell which units still need a return visit.

What is No Entry?

Sometimes an inspector can’t get into a unit during a unit walk. There might be a pet, a locked door or a resident who isn’t home. When that happens, the inspector marks the unit as No Entry in the mobile app and picks a reason.

That No Entry now shows in Manage too, so the office sees the same thing as the field team.

Where to Find It

There’s nothing to turn on. No Entry shows up automatically for Due Diligence inspections.

  1. Open your Due Diligence inspections in Manage.
    1. Click on a Property from the dropdown menu
    2. Click on the Inspections tab
  2. Look next to the inspection’s status. A red line like No Entry: Pet shows the reason the unit couldn’t be entered.
  3. Open the inspection to see more. The same No Entry line shows in the inspection details. In the new Manage experience, you’ll also see the note the inspector left.

Good to Know

  • The status doesn’t change. The inspection keeps its status, like Scheduled or Incomplete, and No Entry shows next to it. This matches how the mobile app shows it.
  • No Entry clears when the inspection is completed. Completed inspections don’t show No Entry.
  • No Entry is set from the mobile app. You cannot mark a unit as No Entry from Manage right now.
  • There’s no No Entry filter in Manage yet. To hide or filter No Entry units, use the toggle in the mobile app or the DD Progress Dashboard Status List
  • The inspector’s note shows only in the new Manage experience. Classic Manage shows the No Entry reason, but not the note.

Not Seeing No Entry?

  • Make sure the unit was marked No Entry in the mobile app.
  • Check that the inspection isn’t completed.
  • Refresh the page.

If it still doesn’t show, reach out to our Support team and we’ll take a look.
