How to set up chart of accounts

Step 1: Log in at using your username and password

Step 2: Select Chart of Accounts in the side panel

Step 3: Select Add New Chart of Accounts from the top right corner

Step 4: Name your Chart of Accounts to help identify the correct tree when adding to a property, should you have more than one. 

Step 5: Select bulk upload to upload your full Chart of Accounts in the top right corner

OR create individual GL codes using '+ New Account

Step 6: Select a file containing your Chart of Accounts (file types: .csv, .tsv, .xls, .xlsx, or .XML) OR you can enter your Chart of Accounts manually. Note: The fields we offer you to fill out in either an uploaded Chart of Accounts file or entered manually are shown in the preview page on this step - Fields: Name, General Ledger Code, Account Type: ("Asset", "Expense", "Liability", "Revenue", "Operating Expense"), Description, Parent GL.


Step 7: Complete the final steps of the process (and click "Finish" to save your Chart of Accounts).
