In rare circumstances, it's possible that a lease's status will not correctly update once applicants or an agent signs a lease contract. To alleviate this issue, elevated permission and tools exist to move a lease contract forward manually.
To access this feature, Mark as Signed must be toggled on within your environment.
Note: We recommend that the Mark as Signed ability is granted only to administrators or members of your organization with the authority to determine that a lease is correctly signed.
Enabling Mark as Signed Permission
This ability is restricted to users who can create and sign leases. To grant this ability:

Find Your Desired User
Click on Users in the menu, and find the user to whom you want to grant the ability. Click on the user, then ensure you are in the Details tab. -
Check User Permissions
Ensure that both Lease Creation and Lease Signing permissions are enabled. -
Enable Mark as Signed
Toggle the Ability to Mark Leases as Signed switch to the active position. -
Save Your Progress
Click Save. The user now can mark leases as signed.
Marking Applicants as Signed
To indicate that applicants have completed signing their lease, use the following steps:

Find Your Desired Lease
Navigate to the lease you want to mark as signed. -
Check Your Lease
Check the lease status by clicking on the Options tab and clicking on View Most Recent Document. The lease will open in a new browser tab.
If you're satisfied that the lease is signed, close the tab, and return to your original browser tab. -
Navigate to Signature Section
Within the Applicants tab, scroll until you reach Pending Tenant Signature within the Progress section. -
Mark as Signed
Click the Mark as Signed button. A modal will appear asking you to confirm your choice. Click Okay to confirm. The lease's status will now update from Pending Tenant Signature to Pending Landlord Signature.
Note: If the lease document doesn't open when you click on View Most Recent Document, ensure that you've allowed pop-ups in your browser.
Marking a Landlord as Signed
To indicate that the landlord has completed signing a lease, use the following steps:

Find Your Desired Lease
Navigate to the lease you want to mark as signed. -
Check Your Lease
Check the lease status by clicking on the Options tab and clicking on View Most Recent Document. The lease will open in a new browser tab.
If you're satisfied that the lease is fully signed, close the tab, and return to your original browser tab. -
Navigate to Signature Section
Within the Applicants tab, scroll until you reach Pending Landlord Signature within the Progress section. -
Mark as Signed
Click the Mark as Signed button. A modal will appear asking you to confirm your choice. Click Okay to confirm. The lease's status will now update from Pending Landlord Signature to Pending Deposit Payment.
