Technician profiles help supervisors understand the skills set across their team and aid in assigning the right work to the right technician. Profiles are available to users with the Maintenance Technician role. 

About your profile

• To view your technician profile, tap the account icon on the top right of the “My Work” screen, then tap “View my profile”
• Your profile includes
  • Your profile photo. Read more about how to update your photo here
  • Your resident satisfaction rating where applicable
  • Your Work order completion by category
  • The ability to add skills and certifications
  • The ability to create and view your technician card

How to add skills and create your technician card

• Open your profile
• Below your name and photo is a section heading “Create your technician card”. Tap “Add skills
• On the skill selection screen choose as many skills as are applicable and tap next
• Rate your proficiency for each skill, add years of experience and tap next
• Years of experience is optional and can be added later
• After finishing you will take back to you profile where you see see your added skills and view your technician card
• Your card will remain up to date as you complete work and add more skills
• Your card is viewable from the technician profile or by shaking your device anywhere in the app!

How to edit skills and add certifications

• Added skills will appear below your name on your profile
• Tap “Add or edit skills”
• Tap a skill to edit that skill, tap add skills to add a new skill
• When editing a skill, you can
  • Update years experience
  • Update proficiency
  • Add a certification
• Certifications include
  • Name of certification
  • Issuer
  • Date completed
  • Date of expiry
  • Certificate ID
  • Ability to link to other skills
  • In future, the ability to upload a document

Why add skills and certifications?

• Skills and certifications are viewable by supervisors and can aid in work assignment, matching you to work that matches your skills
• Skills and certifications from the Technician Card will be an optional feature managed in Settings in Q3 '24

What is a technician card?

• The technician card celebrates you as a maintenance technician!
• The card includes your photo, resident satisfaction rating and top skills
• Skills are scored out of 100, using a scoring method that includes includes completed work, years of experience and certifications
• Card tiers of bronze, silver & gold represent resident satisfaction
