- Once an application has been sent to an applicant you can verify the status by looking at the overall application status and the status of the individual applicants. Once at least one applicant has submitted their application, the Review tab on the application will be active and available. The agent assigned to the application can be changed from the Overview page as well. If you change the assigned agent, the new agent will be notified via email (notification preference depending).
-
Once you are on the Review tab you can see all pertinent details including any application flags that were triggered by an applicant response, the application review log, reference information (if collected) and the applicant screening you’ve conducted or intend to conduct.
If the agent has Review permission they will be able to provide a recommendation, request additional agent review, ask the applicant for additional information on their application or cancel the application. Cancellation isn’t the same as denying an application, cancellation should be used when an applicant reaches out to cancel, when an application becomes stale or was created in error.
-
The reviewing agent has three options:
“Recommend approve”
“Recommend deny”
“Request additional review”
In all cases the agent selects an option, the agent dropdown will pre-populate with either the approver(s) assigned to that property (for Recommend approve or deny) or another agent assigned to the property with Review permission (”Request additional review”). The agent then adds a note describing the rationale for their recommendation and selects Submit.
The application will now be assigned to the agent selected in the Review drawer
-
If the agent has Application approval permission they will be able to either approve or deny an application at any point once it has been submitted. Agents with Application approval permission can also request changes to that application, to be made by the agent who initiated it/reviewed it
