Overview

This error shows up when HappyCo can’t upload an inspection report to a tenant in Yardi because Yardi no longer has that tenant at the property. HappyCo uploads each report to the tenant the inspection was created for, so this usually happens when an inspection is completed long after it was created.

What you’ll see in HappyCo:

“Tenant not found in property”

How to fix it

HappyCo won’t be able to upload this report on its own. Download the report from HappyCo and upload it to the right tenant in Yardi or as an attachment to the unit itself.

Step 1. In HappyCo, open the property and select Inspections > Reports in the left menu.

Step 2. In the Search by location or report title box, search for the unit or the inspection name, then click the report to open it.

Step 3. On the Inspection Report page, click the download icon in the top right corner.

Note: Don’t click Create on the inspection to make a new report. HappyCo would try to upload the new report to the same tenant, and it would fail the same way.

Step 4. In Yardi, upload the PDF to the documents of the tenant the report belongs to or to the unit as an attachment.
