Through configuration, you can set a minimum age requirement for applicants.

The age you configure will be the new minimum age allowed in the date picker when applicants or agents enter a  date of birth. This is helpful especially for student housing when applicants may be under the age of 18.

Note: Credit checks are restricted to applicants 18 or over. If the minimum age allows applicants under 18, those applicants will not be eligible for credit checks.

Steps

  1. Open Automations
    From the header, click the Gear icon and select Automation.

  2. Navigate to Company Preferences
    Open Company Preferences and navigate to Minimum Applicant Age.

  3. Enable Minimum Applicant Age
    Enable the Minimum Applicant Age toggle. The default is 18, but this can be configured.

  4. Save Your Progress
    Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Update Preferences button.
